Period 1 -  Reading 7 & 8 
  • Continue journal entries as a daily review - they are worth points
  • Continue reading up until chapter 40
  • all questions must be finished for 1-40- please make sure you are complete all questions as they have been reviewed in class
  • test will be Monday
    • answer all questions in binders
    • all stories will be kept in binder except Novels which will always be kept in the classroom
    • students may sign out a novel and Holes has a read aloud available on YouTube
  • I will be looking for neat binders & neatly kept work in binders.

  • Thursday -learn about conflict (four types- identify them and apply them to the novel Holes)

      • students may sign out a novel and Holes has a read aloud available on YouTube

    • Last week we began reading Holes.  Tuesday we will review the story and Wednesday will be the test on Chapters 1-5 and the chapter vocabulary which has been reviewed daily.  Students may use their notes and books to help them locate answers.  
    • Thursday - Friday we will continue reading and answering questions for chapters 6-10. Students must make sure that :
      • answer all questions in binders & define all words (definitions are on board and reviewed every day)
      • all stories will be kept in binder except Novels which will always be kept in the classroom
      • students may sign out a novel and Holes has a read aloud available on YouTube
